and services—in a nutshell, can you explain what Troutwine & Associates does?
The thread that ties all our products and services
together is helping people perform. While our products are tailored to
fit divergent fields like business, education or sports, we strive to
help improve performance. For individuals, this many include an
understanding of one’s strengths and areas for improvement in school,
sports, work or life in general. For organizations this ranges from
how to build a winning team to placing people in the right positions.
As one caller summarized, “Oh, your company builds people’s human
capital—you know, the things essential to success in any area of
life.” The caller got it. He also became one our longest standing
clients.

Is there any one certain product or service that is best for me?
Yes. That is why we have designed the web site for
your easy selection of various categories of services and products.
For instance, if you are a high school student, you would probably
find our ‘students’ and ‘athlete’ sections most helpful. Also, if you
are trying to find out ways to improve yourself, our TAP Player Report
and ESP Developmental Report are targeted for your needs. If you are
trying to coach, manage, teach or motivate others the TAP Coach Report
and ESP Profile Report are helpful tools.

How does taking the TAP or ESP help?
These instruments provide an assessment of critical
success factors. This assessment is based on sound scientific methods.
The assessment is then used to provide suggestions for how best to
apply the results towards improved performance. Many of the
suggestions are based on our twenty-two years of experience working
with some of the best people and organizations in the world.

Can the TAP be used by businesses or is it just for sports?
Many non-athletes have found the TAP useful. The TAP
views performance from a broad perspective, from “3rd down and goal”
or an after-dinner speech to taking a math test or meeting a project
deadline at work. Many business people, from entry level to top
executive positions have taken the TAP. However, there will be cases
where another Troutwine & Associates application would produce a
better solution for the business client.
