At the helm, Dr. Troutwine combined sound research with applied psychology to offer clients a variety of services. This combination has always been a core principle with the firm, for it means research provides the path to new, state-of-the-art solutions while applied techniques insure these solutions are practical, with real world impact.

Troutwine & Associates, Inc. services have other common themes that set the firm apart from the competition. Assessment is a tool relied upon heavily in TAI services ranging from employee selection, training and development to succession and strategic planning. Another focal point for the firm is performance. This focus developed methods to predict, enhance and control the performance of individuals and organizations.

With these founding themes and principles TAI began building an impressive track record during the early 1980’s with corporate clients and laying important groundwork in the fields of sports and law. By the mid-1980’s the firm’s reputation was well established regionally and by the latter part of this decade, the firm’s reputation had gained national recognition in areas such as sports and law. Throughout the 1990’s the firm has often been identified with the sports venue.
